Jennifer Donham Wells
Architecture has always been an important part of Jennifer’s life.
Some of her earliest memories are of her father sitting at his drafting table late at night, weekend visits to construction sites, and designing houses in the sand with her siblings.
Fascinated by human behavior, in college Jennifer majored in psychology. Just after graduating, she took what she expected to be a short-term job as a model maker for an architecture firm. Recruited into the marketing department, she discovered her interest in human behavior intersected with her fascination with design and construction and she continued to work in architectural marketing, communications, and business development for the next eight years. A short-term consulting project led to ten years as a producer with the long running PBS series, This Old House. Eventually she was drawn back to the architecture industry where she continues to be inspired by the impact design has on people’s daily lives.
