Allston Labworks

Allston Labworks is a three-building mixed-use development consisting of two purpose-built Research & Developments buildings, and an all-electric residential building. The project will transform the Western Avenue Corridor, an underdeveloped and outdated street scape, into a dynamic hub in Allston. The buildings are designed as individual buildings that add to the neighborhood, rather than a singular project that dominates the area. All three buildings will feature ground level retail and artist-focused community spaces creating a new pedestrian experience. Buildings will be pulled back in order to create a nicer pedestrian experience. Outdoor seating for planned restaurants will take advantage of this additional space and activate the streetscape. The purpose-built lab buildings will feature first class R&D spaces, high floor to floor heights, and a high performing envelope.
