The Grove, Spruce + Balsam Halls at UMASS Dartmouth

A public-private partnership between the University and developer Greystar, this new live-learn community of 1,210 beds will connect to the southeast corridor of the Paul Rudolf designed Campus at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. The project will serve the school’s first-year students while responding to student demand for modern residential facilities that promote student engagement while keeping the project cost-effective for the University. The community will include general academic classrooms, a mixture of multimedia and student lounges, maker spaces, and music practice rooms. Additionally, co-located within the complex will be a new 38,000 SF dining facility with a capacity of 800.
